CATCH MAGAZINE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD

No, we are not making a major motion picture (yet!!). Brian is dropping in on friends of Catch Magazine at the Fisherman's Spot Fly Shop in Los Angeles, California. He will be there December 12, with two programs, one at 11:00 am and one at 2 pm. Catch videos, photography and more. Rumor has it that the staff at the Fisherman's Spot has requested a Fly Fishing Cuba presentation, also. The shop is easy to find. It is on Burbank, near the intersection with Van Nuy's and close to Sepulvida Blvd. The phone number is 818-785-7306. Come on down and join Brian, several tackle reps, including Catch Magazine contributor John Sherman for a good time and maybe a big BBQ! Locals produce fly-fishing magazine

Central Oregonians are growing the popular website Catch Magazine

The plane lost its brakes on the small dirt runway in the Bahamas, swerved to the left and crashed into a cluster of mangrove bushes.

Nobody was killed or even seriously injured. But Todd Moen was done with traveling to remote locales as a videographer for a company that produces fishing and outdoors television shows.

“Twenty minutes later, a guy on a mo-ped shows up to help,” Moen recalls, laughing. “I'm so lucky I lived, and nobody got hurt. ... It was unbelievable. After that, I was over traveling, because I was on the road all the time for two years.”
